Childhood has always been a synonym for fun and games. It is the period that we wish to pass quickly and when it is over, we want to go back, because we went through that phase so unconsciously that we didn't realize how great it was not to have worries, besides knowing what to play and do our homework. 

We spent that period dreaming about the future and what profession to choose and we played about it, in fact we played with everything and everywhere, but the best places used to be the playgrounds, that variety of toys almost impossible to have at home made that place practically magical. Sometimes, when going to the park was not possible, the house of someone from the group of friends or even the street, were the stage for all kinds of hobbies, spinning top, marbles, button football, fly kite, club, catch, hide and seek besides the games that were invented at the time. 

This type of activity awakens the spontaneity in children. Recently, with the advent of technological games, even these exclusive outdoor activities were limited to a screen where you can experience the concept of play, without actually playing. The number of children who visit open areas to play is lower when compared to previous years, this decrease is due to other factors besides the technological imprisonment that has been occurring for some time, it is also due to the decrease in safety in some places hindering the freedom of children and the quality of toys available in common play areas such as parks and squares.

Infância sempre foi sinônimo de diversão e brincadeiras. É o período que desejamos que passe rápido e quando acaba, queremos voltar, porque passamos por aquela fase de forma tão inconsciente que não percebemos a grandiosidade que era não ter preocupações, além de saber do que brincar e fazer a lição de casa. 

Passamos esse período sonhando com o futuro e qual profissão escolher e brincamos sobre isso, aliás brincamos com tudo e em qualquer lugar, mas os melhores lugares costumavam ser os playgrounds ou parquinhos, aquela variedade de brinquedos quase impossíveis de ter em casa faziam aquele lugar praticamente mágico. Nas vezes que as idas ao parquinho não eram possíveis, a casa de alguém do grupo de amigos ou até mesmo a rua, eram o palco para os passatempos, carrinho de rolimã, pião, bolinha de gude, futebol de botão, soltar pipa, taco, pega-pega, esconde-esconde, queimada, além das brincadeiras que eram inventadas na hora. 

Esse tipo de atividade desperta a espontaneidade nas crianças, nos últimos anos, com o advento dos jogos tecnológicos, até essas atividades exclusivas de práticas ao ar livre foram limitadas a uma tela em que se pode experienciar o conceito da brincadeira, sem na verdade brincar. O número de crianças que frequentam áreas abertas para brincar é menor quando comparado aos anos anteriores, essa diminuição se deve a outros fatores além do aprisionamento tecnológico que vem ocorrendo a um certo tempo, se deve também a diminuição de segurança em alguns lugares prejudicando a liberdade das crianças e a qualidade questionável de alguns brinquedos disponibilizados nas áreas comuns de brincadeiras, como parques e praças. 

Pensando na espontaneidade e na sensação de liberdade que esses brinquedos trazem para uma criança, a Metalúrgica CLA inicia o projeto de brinquedos de playground, para que as crianças, mesmo em casa, possam vivenciar a alegria e as risadas ao ousarem brincar de verdade e para que os adultos ao redor também ousem relembrar aquela sensação de infância e se divirtam em conjunto com os pequenos.
